Humboldt Local Food Month's Mission: To bring together Humboldt County organization to celebrate the local food bounty of our region through fun events!

For the last seven years, a group of Humboldt County organizations and individuals have worked together to organize this countywide Local Food Month celebration for September. We invite you to join us in this annual celebration of local food and farming to make 2014 the most robust year yet!

“Getting people out to visit farms and providing opportunities to taste local produce are the best ways to understand how lucky we are in Humboldt County,” said Local Food Month co-organizer Erin Derden-Little.  “We are excited that community support for local agriculture continues to grow, and that many agencies and organizations can partner to celebrate the abundance of our region.”
